Looking for a Mindfulness Mentor?
Whether you are new to meditation or are an experienced practitioner, a mindfulness mentor can help you to build and sustain a regular practice - on the meditation cushion and in your daily life. My approach to mentoring is to understand you, your life and your practice, support you in tapping into your own inner wisdom, and then guide you to deeper levels of awareness, insight and compassion.
I offer private one-on-one mentoring sessions, usually on Zoom. Sessions are usually about 60 mins long and are scheduled in advance. At our initial session, I will ask about your background, any mindfulness or spiritual practices you follow, and what you are looking for in a mentor. Then during subsequent sessions, I will invite you to check in about your practice and your life and any topics you’d like to explore. After that, I might support you to go deeper into your experience by asking a few questions, leading you in a guided meditation, or offering some comments. I might also suggest practices or resources for you to try. It all depends on what you are looking for and what I think might be helpful.
I do not charge a set amount for mentoring, however I invite folks to support my work through the practice of dana/donations. There is information about this important Buddhist practice here. Most people offer an amount equivalent to what they would pay a personal coach, counselor or therapist for a 50 minute session.
