Support My Work

“Dana brings happiness at every stage of its expression. We experience
joy in forming the intention to be generous. We experience joy in the actual act of giving something. And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given.”
-  Buddha
I do not charge a set fee or price for teaching, mentoring, and any other services. Instead, I offer my time on a dana basis. Dana is the Pāli word (Pali is the language in which the Buddha's teachings were first written) for generosity, giving or donation. Dana is an important Buddhist practice and it is the first of the Buddhist virtues (pāramīs). This is because giving/generosity opens the heart, creates connection to others, and teaches letting go.

For more about the Buddhist Practice of Dana go here.

Dana can be an unfamiliar and even uncomfortable practice for westerners so I usually provide a suggested range of dana for my services. However, no-one will be turned away because of a lack of funds.
